To batch edit assets, you must first go to a blog-level asset listing screen (Manage > Assets)

Next, select the assets you wish to edit by checking the corresponding checkboxes.

Finally select Batch Edit Assets from the drop down menu at either the top of the bottom of the screen and click Go

This will take you to a screen which will list the chosen assets providing text fields for you to enter a title, description and tags. Click the file name (left most column) for a preview of the asset (just like the asset listing screens).

Once you have finished editing your assets, simply click Save to save your changes, you will be taken back to the asset listing screen!
